I invite healthcare professionals to open debate around the issues raised in my poster, both those relating to research and to clinical practice.

Related to the topic of this poster, a recent article was published in the journal Kidney International: High BPA Levels in Kids Linked to Risk for Heart, Kidney Damage: Study. Thought it might be of interest!

Although it is rare for dialysis females to become preganant or carry to term, it does happen.  The level of BPA can be significant fetal toxin and efforts to reduce that level should be tried in pregnant femals.  The current practice is daily (or 6/week) dialysis for these patients.  Not sure if this will have a significant impact on BPA levels.
